The more times I go around the sun, it becomes abundantly clear that you have to do cool shit when you can. Of course, you don’t always get the opportunity to do cool, fun stuff. A lot of life is dealing with or managing moments; work and family as an example. From time to time you will get presented with cool moments, and when they appear you have to pounce on them.

You might be wondering, what the heck is going on in the above image. At the end of 2025 we were giving the opportunity to do a photo shoot together. For Dizzy, this is totally out of his comfort zone. Something that he has never really done before. For Moo, well she is a professional, so this was nothing new for her. Although, doing it together was something very new and fun.

We were presented this very cool opportunity on the basis that we LOVE the artist that designs these clothes and have been wearing her designs for years. We always share us wearing her designs around the world, and doing this together was a memory that we will always remember. Check out sustainablefashion.com.au

For the past 2 years, we have adopted this attitude. In 2024 we packed up all our belongings and set off into the distance. Following the sun and the stars as we trip around the world. It has been one of the most beautiful experiences we have ever embarked on. At times, some of the most challenging, but it has been a really cool experience. An experience I am sure that we will cherish for a lifetime.
If we never built up the courage and set off on this adventure, I am not sure I would have done a photo shoot. I would have been stuck in my ways in our home. Where your perceptions and self identity box you into an environment that sees you stuck in one spot forever.

I never would have thought I would be sitting here in a little town in Japan writing this article. I never would have thought I would have hiked around Hong Kong or did cool coastal trails in Japan.
Giving yourself permission to enjoy cool shit opens you up to amazing possibilities.
If you in a position to do cool shit, do yourself a favour and do it. It will be one of the coolest things you can do.
